Wil
Etherington is a 16 year old high school student from Kinston, Ontario in
Canada. From a young age he has been interested in sport and the benefits of
healthy living. It was this enthusiasm that led him to try out cycling,
encouraged by one of his teachers when he was 11. From the onset he was hooked
and he hasn’t looked back since.
Although Wil
started on a mountain bike and races at an elite level, his true passion is for
road racing, which he has being doing since he received his first road bike
when he was 14. Wil’s ambition is to race professionally, and for him the best
place to do that is Europe. He is very excited about the prospect of training
and racing in Europe, where he feels cycling is a much bigger sport than is
home country of Canada. In his own words he "can’t wait for the cobbles”.

We met Amy late summer this year at the bikeshop of Bikes & Services in the Netherlands. Amy will represent the Netherlands on the Paralympics 2012 in London. She has only one goal, to excel and bring home a medal in her discipline: 100 and 200 metres.
Amy has asked us to give thoughts about improving her race-chair. Step by step we make small improvements to adapt the race-chair to Amy's physical possibillities.
We, at UNOVELO, are ready to support her all the way to the Paralympics 2012 in London.
