The SLX1902

The SLX1902 was developed with a modern design in Cyclocross. The geometry along with the combination of UD carbon makes the SLX1902 a leader in the market. The rigidity and instant steering reaction when cornering from the 1 1/8” – 1.5 " head tube provides the rider superior performance. The stiffness of the frame combined with the power of the rider is immediately transferred into energy from the large chain stays and BB. Bottom line the SLX1902 respond’s immediately for more efficient acceleration and stability. The SLX1902’s fork rigidity makes for technical descents and dismounts with the ease of a PRO. The BB30 makes the SLX1902 an absolute powerhouse. By applying a BB30, the bike is not only lighter and stiffer, but it also ensures that more power is transferred to the drive-train. Making this one of the most technical well equipment frames in Cyclocross.

Specifications Highlighted

Frame: 100% Multi-bonding Carbon using a Unidirectional weave. Using a 1 1/8” – 1.5” Head Tube for better handling ride and UD carbon giving you the stiffness that is required. Using aluminum dropouts to reduce wheel slippage and provide more durability on your cross frame.

FK1902 Fork: Full Carbon Monocoque with Carbon Dropouts, we paired this fork for performance. Providing exceptional handing on descent’s, turns and twists of a demanding Cyclocross cross with rock solid climbing power.

Bottom Bracket: again we have used a BB30 providing the utmost power transfer to the rear wheel.

The Stays: the seat stays are a bent design for better braking and clearance.  The chain stays are not that dissimilar to the SLS1018 there for giving great power transfer.

Intern Cable Routing: the elements can be hard on brake and shift cables, so we went inside. Keeping dust, rain and mud off the cables allowing you to have longer and better shifting and braking. Less cleaning as well!

All of this for 1050g, +/-5g in a 55cm
